The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas Employee Drop Off and Construction Administration

Sigma provided design and construction administration services for a $3 billion resort property located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Harmon Avenue.

The scope of services included the design of an employee drop-off area, a loading dock truck access, median revisions along Harmon Avenue, and crash protection for the existing resort facility.

This portion of the overall project included design of private storm drain and drop inlets, masonry retaining wall, curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk and ramps, asphalt concrete pavement, directional signage and striping for bus and loading dock traffic, concrete cross gutters in the Harmon Avenue median to alleviate ponding issues, and bollard installation for protection of the employee drop-off and the casino entrance.

These services were performed for the casino owner and were coordinated with Clark County staff members for agency approvals.
