Nye County Jail

 

Sigma provided civil engineering design services associated with a new 225-bed detention facility on a partially developed 3.2 acre site.

The scope included on-site demolition, grading, storm drain design, open channel design, sanitary sewer design, water main design, masonry retaining wall design, a Traffic Mitigation Letter, and a Technical Drainage Study.

This project required close coordination with Nye County Planning, Public Works, Utilities Inc. of Central Nevada, as well as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR).
